Virgin Galactic, in a short sub orbital flight "science" is great, but already been done. I am for it, but VG is bout adventure tourist flights to edge of space or 55 statue miles not science. Sounds like they are trying a new revenue stream selling flights for science. In the end space needs to be profitable and viable business. At this point space is for nation states and very rich people, likely for a long time to come. NOTE: The Kármán line, an altitude of 100 km (62 mi) above sea level, is conventionally used as the start of outer space in space treaties and for aerospace records keeping. Certain portions of the upper stratosphere and the mesosphere are sometimes referred to as "near space". I think it is cool but science not sure, The air launch, cool. Those two got to the airport in their SUVs with the aircondition on full blast . And if the were to have used an EV it charged from a Coal fire . And likely a Soros paid them and supplied an oil based paint. New paint jobs and replacement of those expensive windows and the clean up prior to pain as well as a weight and balance and any other FAA mandated work will cost them over $50,000 per plane . They will not be able to afford to buy oil for a long time. And thats not to include any lost revenues , pilot wages and damage to the other aircraft in the area . They need some time too! I think 25 years of hard slave labor to pay for damages to these aircraft. I don’t care what others might make about my comment. You people probably have not had to pay for maintainace of an aircraft. If any of the critical sensors were covered with paint rendering the aircraft unsafe for flight. Those sensors will have to be replaced at costs exceeding $20,000 just for the sensors plus labor which could be double the cost of the equipment that needs to be replaced. Loss of service of that aircraft also is something that can be added to the cost of repairs and cleaning of aircraft.

I. Very thankful that Dan and his passengers are safe. Watching the vid was this a tial wheel malfunction? The landing seems to be fine until the tail stopped flying.

That is the second GA crash that Gryder has been involved in over the last few years. Maybe he can "Probable Cause" his own accidents...should be interesting to hear his take.
